Master electrician
A master electrician holds the top individual electrician license in Texas, earned with years of supervised experience and an exam.
TDLR says that to apply for a master electrician license you must have held a journeyman electrician license for at least two years. You must also show 12,000 hours of on-the-job training under the supervision of a master electrician licensed in Texas.
Master electricians often serve as the responsible person for an electrical contractor and supervise others. Journeyman electricians work under their supervision. Check any license with TDLR. See hire a licensed electrician in Texas.
