NFPA 70B
NFPA 70B is the standard for electrical equipment maintenance, covering planned upkeep of electrical systems in buildings and plants.
NFPA 70B, Standard for Electrical Equipment Maintenance, changed from a recommended practice to a standard. NFPA says this means maintenance is now required when NFPA 70B is being enforced.
It applies to electrical, electronic and communications systems and equipment and does not replace maker instructions. Programs can include inspections such as thermal imaging. It pairs with NFPA 70E. See commercial electrical maintenance.
